One practitioner said, "A TV reporter spoke to us and a spokesman from the Chinese Embassy. It was broadcast several times that day on one of the main TV stations."
Throughout the first day of the protest, people could hear information about Falun Gong and the persecution in China on the local radio stations. The next day an article entitled, "The Movement is Meditating in Front of the Chinese Embassy," was published in the Vecernik Praha, a Prague newspaper.
This was the third time the same journalist wrote about Falun Dafa activities--she was very positive. She said she likes watching us practise. On Friday she displayed her personal interest while we talked with her on the phone.
That day, Czech people in all parts of the world had a chance to learn about Falun Gong when a foreign radio reporter came to ask questions. In addition, a journalist who works for the weekly paper, The Respekt, also spent more than an hour talking to the group in a friendly atmosphere.
These days, many policeman stopped to ask us about Falun Gong and the persecution in China. One policeman even said they were glad to see us since we were in front of the Chinese Embassy so many times during the summer--they'd come to know us.
Next to the practitioners, passers-by could see big posters with victims of the brutality on it. In addition, they could sign a petition calling for the urgent rescue of Falun Gong practitioners in China.
People from the Chinese Embassy didn't pay too much attention to the practitioners, but some of them took the Chinese copies of flyers and papers. One of them also tried to persuade the only Chinese practitioner living in Czech Republic to stop practising Falun Gong.
The Czech practitioners plan to hold another protest and inform the media.
