Hearing of Luo's death, her in-laws, together with her one and half year old daughter, came down from Shandong Province to Guangdong City. Her brother and sister also came. In order to find out the cause of Luo's death and to seek justice, the family went to the police station and "610 Office" but were rebuffed by them. The perpetrators said that Luo committed suicide, so they were free of any responsibility and refused to pay the family compensation. If Luo committed a suicide as they claimed, why are they afraid of letting the medical examiner to do an autopsy?
The family said that Luo had been forced to stay away from her home for two years to avoid the persecution and had no stable living place. There are so many tall buildings in the city, why did she not jump down to kill herself before, but commit the so-called "suicide" only after being kidnapped to the brainwashing centre? She was pregnant and told her mother-in-law that she wanted to give birth to the baby. How could she possibly to kill herself?
To cover up their crimes and evade their responsibilities, the police station and "610 Office" even asked the family to send Luo's body to be cremated before resolving the argument. The family told them that only Luo's husband Huang Guohua had the right to sign any document about cremating Luo's body. The police detained Luo's husband by sentencing him to criminal detention and refused to let him to see his wife for the last time. Luo's body is currently in a funeral parlour. The family went to appeal but have not received a reply. The family was evicted from their motel without any reason. The two elderly people together with a one and half year old baby had no one to take care of them and had no income. How can they make a living?
