Jiang Zemin's criminal group is in a great panic as their crimes of torturing Falun Dafa practitioners are constantly exposed. According to a reliable source, in order to cover up their crimes, Jiang Zemin's criminal group paid some hackers high salaries, spent great amounts of money in purchasing excellent equipment for them and trained them for one-and-half months. [Beijing] Criminal Facts of Vicious Police in Tuanjiehu Police Station
Vicious police officer Zhang Shidang of Tuanjiehu Police Station frequently arrested practitioners. In brainwashing classes, he often struck the table and cursed practitioners. He tortured unyielding practitioners by using methods such as disallowing them to sleep. He even declared publicly, "The Party has countless techniques [of torture]."
Police Officer Fan Jinghu also tortured practitioners. During so-called "sensitive days," he would go to practitioners' homes to beat and arrest them. He was especially brutal in beating female practitioners. He beat them all over with all his strength. Once, he went to a female practitioner's home to arrest her. He grasped tightly the practitioner's neck, pushed her to the balcony and said maliciously, "If I throw you off this balcony it will be considered a suicide." He didn't even spare elderly women. He used to pinch an elderly practitioner's fingers with a pair of pliers and told this practitioner, "If you go to Tiananmen Square once more, I will destroy your whole family."
Guo Genliang, the director of "610 office" in Tuanjiehu District, received quick promotions for his "contribution" in torturing practitioners. When forcing practitioners to write a "rupture statement," (which claims renouncement of Falun Gong practice) he and other officers took turns coercing practitioners and forbade them to sleep. They also persecuted practitioners economically. For numerous times, Sui Xin from the office extorted a so-called "class fee" from practitioners. The fee was at least 1,000 Yuan (about US $125, $60 is average monthly income in China) and sometimes as high as 5,000 Yuan. They did not give practitioners any receipts. Wang Jianxin and Fu Guilan are also accomplices in the persecution.

Around 9 a.m. on August 9, 2001, practitioner Wang Chaohui was tailed by several thugs (Dafa persecutors), and later was kidnapped and taken to the city police department. His whereabouts are unknown.
Around 8 a.m. on August 16, 2001, practitioner Feng Guiru went out to do something with a fellow practitioner, and on the way both were kidnapped. Feng was sent to No. 3 Custodial Center of Jilin City, and she is now on a hunger strike to protest the illegal kidnapping and request an unconditional release. The other practitioner's whereabouts are unclear.

In July 2000, several practitioners from the Wenmiao Police Station's prefecture travelled to Beijing to validate Dafa and were arrested. Later, they were escorted back by three local policemen including Hou Chuanhui. Hou and others went to the practitioners' workplaces and homes successively to extort money.
Ever since July 22, 1999, Hou went to practitioners' homes numerous times to confiscate Dafa books, and forced the practitioners to write guarantee letters renouncing Falun Dafa. He illegally monitored practitioners and even declared, "I don't care if it's right or wrong, and I just listen to my superiors. My mother-in-law practiced Falun Gong and her cerebral thrombus was healed. But if the government gives the order, I'll shoot you all dead with a gun."

On the afternoon of June 27, 2001, police from the Meihua Street Police Station unlawfully took away Song Dahai (pseudonym) from in front of his residential building, and ransacked his home without a search warrant. Now Song Dahai's wife and daughter (both practitioners) are wandering about because they can't go back home. Song was detained in the Dongshan District Custodial Center (located at 15 Shiguling, Shahe Tianpingjia, Guangzhou City) for nearly 50 days. He was illegally sentenced to one and a half years in labor camp for not giving up his belief in Falun Dafa. Right now he is detained at the Guangzhou City No.1 Labor Camp in Chini County, Huadu District. It is said that more than a dozen practitioners are being illegally detained there.

[Chongqing City, Sichuan Province] Dafa Practitioners Are Illegally Arrested
On July 6 2001, police officers of the Dajing Police Department in Banan District illegally arrested 8 practitioners. They were Xiang Shihua, Xiang Dong, Cao Xueqin, Tang Xiaoyi, Luo Piping, Fengjun, Zhang Huaan, Yang Fengjun and others. The police ransacked Yang Fengjun's house without a search warrant and stole and made off with more than 7,000 Yuan (the equivalent of one year's salary). They also confiscated his remote control player, microphone, portable copy machine and Dafa materials.
On July 7, 2001, Duan Changsheng, who lived at 75-9 Jinglong Rd, Longxi Town, Yubei District, was illegally taken away and his house was ransacked.
