He has won the respect and trust of other people because they have seen his great compassion, tolerance, wisdom and courage. Not only do the prisoners respect him, but the officials and guards at the labour camp also like to talk to him. Some of the officials are very friendly with him in private. Some of the guards try to make life for practitioners a little easier.
It's very difficult to read Falun Dafa books in the labour camp. Some of the guards with compassionate thoughts will secretly help practitioners. One practitioner often "borrows" Falun Dafa books from a guard for everyone to share. When the officials do a search in the cells, one of the guards will warn the practitioners beforehand.
