An Unforgettable Telephone Call

Half a year ago, a fellow practitioner related to me the following.

One day, this practitioner received a phone call from a man. This man said that he would be leaving the country very soon, and before his departure, he would like to say farewell. This practitioner had only heard the person’s name, and had never seen him. So, over the phone, he asked the man where he had obtained his telephone number from. The man answered calmly: “I have all you people’s numbers. To tell you the truth, I am in fact an undercover agent. And this is true! Half a year ago, I came here from China, pretending to be a Falun Gong practitioner. When I came, I carried with me all your contacts. My job was to get in touch with you people, and then collect some information. But I had not made any phone calls until now. That’s because when I first got here, I wanted to observe you people first, to see if there was anything suspicious going on.

As part of our job, we had to read Zhuan Falun; I felt the teachings in the book were quite good, but I did not believe such good people existed. I had always thought there must be some other agenda, so I kept a watchful eye and did not make contact with anyone. After a period of time, I found that you people really did follow the teachings of the book - to become good people; I have not done any damage to Dafa, nor will I do that in the future. My next assignment has nothing to do with Falun Gong, so don’t worry about it.

Actually, in the book, your Teacher talks about supernormal abilities, and I believe all of that. It’s because I had a personal experience of it. As a child, I lived in the country. One day, I was playing with other children, and all of a sudden, they could not see me anymore; they could not find me. They were sure that I had not left, so they looked for me in the village. In the beginning, only the children were looking for me but later, all the adults and children in the village were looking for me. In fact, I had always been next to them. I wasn’t sure whether they really couldn’t see me, and suspected that they were playing a game with me; so wherever they went, I’d follow them. Later, I discovered that they were not playing games with me - they really could not see me - and were really looking for me. I thought this was quite funny, so I continued and watched them get more and more anxious. Two hours later, the village people were frustrated, and said that I could not possibly be in the village. They did not know what to do. So I stood in among them, and exclaimed ”I am right here. Why don’t you see me?” As a result, I reappeared in front of everyone. They all felt odd , and so did I – how could they not see me? I had always been there!

For many years, this had always been a puzzle to me. After reading Dafa books, I then realised it was a kind of supernormal ability - I did not realise I had this type of supernormal ability; so I believe in the other supernormal abilities your Teacher had described.

I will not damage Dafa, it’s only that I didn’t realise how good you all are.

As well, could you advise the practitioner - the one that always find faults with her husband , if there is an opportunity, tell her that she should look inward first; you should let her know this…”

The fellow practitioner smiled after he finished telling the story, and so did I.
