The General Committee of Students holds regular meetings between the university students of different clubs and associations to allow the students to learn more about the various associations. This kind of meeting is called an “information meeting”. Practitioners talked with the project manager about staging a presentation, and the next day we received an invitation.

On 5th March 2003, German practitioners successfully held the Falun Gong “information meeting”. Firstly, a western practitioner briefly introduced some background information about Falun Gong, and some films were shown explaining more about Falun Gong and the persecution. After they had finished watching those films, the attendees engaged in an enthusiastic discussion and raised a lot of questions. Practitioners answered them one by one, and demonstrated the five sets of exercises. The attendees saw the peacefulness of Falun Gong practitioners, the spreading of Falun Gong around the world and the fierceness and cruelty of Jiang’s regime, which is nothing but a group of evil political scoundrels.

The students were very surprised when they were told what had happened in Berlin and Goslar to Falun Gong practitioners during Jiang’s visit to Germany, as well as what happed in Iceland last year. They could not understand why they persecute Falun Gong, and how the group of evil political scoundrels has extended its persecution overseas. The attendees also made a lot of good suggestions on how to end the persecution and tell people the facts and, one by one, signed their names on the petition forms for rescuing Lin Wenrong and Xiong Wei.
