Falun Gong practitioners in Macao are helping a growing number of tourists quit the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and its affiliated organizations at two tourists destinations every day. Between 200 and 300 people quit the CCP on an average Saturday or Sunday. The number climbed to 330 on October 28.

Tourists could see the yellow “Falun Dafa Is Great” banner from far away. Many of them read it out loud and took pictures in front of it. Many interesting incidents regarding quitting the CCP happen here every day.
One practitioner said, “A tourist couple came over to read our photo display, and I told them about about quitting the CCP. Both of them were Party members. When I told them to quit to be safe, they agreed right away. They carefully chose nicknames, added their surnames and asked me to write down their nicknames on the first page of a copy of Nine Commentaries on the Communist Party so that they wouldn't forget.”
Another practitioner encountered a man who initially refused to listen to her. He told the practitioner, “I will leave if you continue.” She patiently replied, “I'm thinking about your best interests from the bottom of my heart. You know, we Chinese say 'Good will be rewarded and the wicked punished.' The Communist Party caused the deaths of 80 million Chinese. Do you think it will have a good ending? When you joined the Communist Party, the Youth League, and the Young Pioneers, you swore you would devote your whole life to the cause of Communism. Don't your bear responsibility for what the Party did? We should break this vow and devote ourselves to ourselves and our families. We Chinese should love our nation, not the Party. The important thing for members of the Party is to be safe.” The man agree to quit the Party and its affiliated organizations. Five of his family members and friends joined him later and also quit the CCP.
Another practitioner shared yet another story: “A group of middle-school students and their teacher visited Macao this summer. When we told them to quit the Youth League and the Young Pioneers, they hesitated at first. A practitioner explained to them why they should break their vow to devote their lives to the cause of Communism and asked, 'If the Communist Party is truly as good as it claims, why doesn't it open up the Internet so that everyone could praise it? Why do our friends living in China want to go study in the United States and get an American passport? If the Communist Party is as good as it claims, why don't American people try to go to China and get a Chinese passport?” The students realized they had been deceived. About 10 of them chose to quit the Communist organizations right away.
