Spreading Falun Dafa During a Trip to Geneva

We met a group of lovely children in front of the United Nations building in Geneva on the afternoon of March 18 2003. When asked where they are from, the children told us in Italian that they are from Italy. We could not understand the rest of what they said. Luckily a Falun Gong practitioner from Germany came over to act as our interpreter. We learnt that these children were from an Italian school and that they came to Geneva to visit the UN on a school trip.

At this moment, their head teacher and other teachers came over, and we started to talk about Falun Gong. They had already seen our sitting meditation in front of the UN building and took some Falun Gong materials that morning. They said they are very happy to learn that there are Falun Gong practitioners in Italy and there is an Italian version of the Falun Dafa Web site [visit http://www.falundafa.org]. The teachers expressed a wish to learn more about Falun Gong by visiting the website after their trip was finished. When they learnt of the serious human rights violation against Falun Gong practitioners in China, the head teacher expressed great sympathy and said he would include the persecution of Falun Gong in the school project report.

The children and their head teacher expressed their wish to learn Falun Gong exercises in front of the UN building. A Falun Gong practitioner from Germany and another one from Singapore demonstrated the 2^nd exercise, and all the children and teachers happily joined in.

There are people interested in and waiting for Dafa everywhere.
