Falun Dafa practitioners participated in the Oriental Cultural Festival (Festival dell'Oriente) at the Rome Exhibition Centre from May 30 to June 2, 2014. Many visitors were very interested in the exercises. They were also shocked to learn about the 15-year-long persecution in China.

A host joined the Falun Dafa practitioners on stage after the exercise demonstration and facilitated a question and answer session. Many people asked where they could learn the exercises.
An audience member watching the exercise demonstration was impressed by the practitioners' level of concentration. “Because the exhibitors are scheduled to use the stage at different time slots, there are a lot of things going on at the same time. It's amazing how they can keep such a strong inner focus,” he said.
Another woman spent some time learning the Falun Gong exercises and immediately felt the energy field. “It is warm and pleasant,” she said. “I felt a strong energy field. It's very comforting. I will continue the practice at home. Thank you very much!”
Many visitors to the Falun Dafa booth also had the opportunity to learn more details of the persecution.
Heavily influenced by Chinese Communist Party's (CCP) propaganda, some Chinese visitors couldn't believe such atrocities were taking place in China. Practitioners talked to them patiently to clear up their doubts. In the end, many of them were convinced by the facts.
Reporters from TG2 TV station interviewed the practitioners and broadcast the interviews on the evening news.
