Falun Gong practitioners recently participated in the YogArt and Green Festivals in St. Petersburg this summer. They introduced the beauty of Falun Gong cultivation practice and exposed the persecution of the practice in China. This was the second year that practitioners participated in these popular annual events.

The practitioners set up poster boards with information about Falun Gong, demonstrated the exercises, and performed traditional Chinese dances. Many people stopped to watch and read the posters, and many signed the petition calling for stopping the Chinese Communist Party's forced organ harvesting from persecuted Falun Gong practitioners.
The annual YogArt Festival showcases Eastern cultures, with dozens of groups participating. The Green Festival focuses on solutions to protect the natural environment. Many cultural organizations, as well as European and Asian embassies and consulates participated in both events.
