As mounting evidence points to the state-sanctioned organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners, an elderly couple in Harbin City now suspects that their son was an early victim of the horrendous crime committed by the Chinese communist regime.
Mr. Kong Fanzhe died on the same day of his arrest on February 21, 2003 for refusing to renounce Falun Gong, a spiritual discipline being persecuted by the Chinese communist regime. The police didn’t notify his parents until three days later.
The elderly couple noticed a long cut running from their son’s chin to his pubis loosely sewed up with nylon cord. There were also bruises all over his body.
According to an insider, when Mr. Kong’s body was first brought to the morgue, it was so bloody that the workers had to rinse it under water for hours.
Mr. Kong’s parents requested to know the cause of his death and were told that he “jumped out of a fourth-floor window while trying to escape police arrest.”
Mr. Kong's parents had planned to sue the responsible parties, but were stopped by local authorities. They have struggled to live a normal life following their son’s untimely death, and had always wondered about the long cut they saw on his body. Now with mounting evidence of organ harvesting, they suspect that their son, only 33 at the time of death, was likely cut open for organ harvesting.
