Practitioners from northern England came together in Liverpool on Sunday, August 21, 2016 to raise awareness about Falun Gong.
Passersby saw banners and display boards with information about Falun Gong, the persecution in China, and the destructive role of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in China since it took power in 1949. They also watched practitioners demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises.

People showed their support by signing the petition to stop forced organ harvesting from Falun Gong practitioners in China. Many who wanted to know more were shocked to learn just how brutally Falun Gong is being persecuted in China.
One young lady spent a lot of time reading the materials and talking to practitioners. She signed the petition and said that she would share what she had learned on her social media site. She said that many people would see her post because she had more than a million followers. She was very touched to be given a paper lotus flower bearing the words “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” the core principles of Falun Gong.
