Romania: Falun Dafa activities at the "Health from Nature" fair in Constanta

On the occasion of the "Health from Nature" fair, Falun Dafa practitioners from Romania organized activities at Vivo Mall in Constanta on September 23-25 to present the school of traditional Chinese culture. Practicing in this school helps them to understand the connection between humans and their immediate or wider environment, thus letting go of patterns of thinking that might affect their quality of life and gaining a broader perspective on existence.

Practitioners are aware that, by unconditionally receiving this useful information, they have a moral obligation to pass it on. One cannot be happy when there is suffering all around, therefore practitioners around the world are making freely available to the public what they have received, in 49 languages at present, and the number of countries benefiting from the presence of local practitioners is over 100 and growing.

During the activities, dialogues are often set up with visitors at the booth with materials about Falun Dafa, as people are increasingly eager to find solutions to regain their hope. As Falun Dafa practice is based on the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance, people are happy to know that an estimated 100 million people are dedicated to protecting these principles.

A lady slowly approached the Falun Dafa booth and looking at the lotus flowers asked what they represented. She took a lotus flower in her hand, and looking at it said: "I feel so good when I look at it, I feel peaceful and calm, I would like to stay a little longer near your stand because I feel very relaxed." When she left she said she would permanently keep the lotus flower with her.

Razvan and his friends, a group of several children, approached the booth and wanted lotus flowers. A practitioner taught them to say the auspicious words Zhen Shan Ren Hao ("Truthfulness, Compassion, and Tolerance are good") in Chinese, and they happily repeated the formula. Then Razvan wanted more information and got leaflets and bookmarks for his parents.

One gentleman received a leaflet while waiting for his wife and, upon asking what it was about, learned that Falun Dafa is a school that teaches the practice of cultivating moral character by assimilating the principles of truth, kindness and tolerance. With a good-natured attitude and an obvious willingness to listen, Mr. Viorel said, "I like what you say, it would be good for people to know these principles, for example, it would be good to teach them in school." Asked how he would see this possible, he replied that teachers would do well to guide children to be more harmonious, to tell the truth, to be tolerant, to support and understand each other. He concluded this would make the world a better place.

A gentleman and a lady approached the Falun Dafa booth and wanted to know more about the practice and the activities at the event. A practitioner answered their questions, and the man said that the practice raises the energy level, and in this way, all bad things will no longer have connection with the practitioner.

Then learning about persecution and how the communist party persecutes practitioners, he said that no totalitarian regime would want people to rise spiritually because they would become free. Thus this does not please those who want to control people.

At Vivo Mall Constanta, several thousand people come every weekend. They come from all walks of life and all ages. Whether they come to shop, dine at a restaurant, ride the electric train, socialise or simply occupy their time by walking part of the day from one end of the huge shopping space to the other.

Walking past the booth, one lady said that the world is in dire need of Truth, Compassion and Tolerance.

A woman and a man passed by twice and got offered a leaflet a second time. The woman, a respectable lady by her dress and manner of speech, smilingly said she had already read it and would sign the online petition.

The man said that although he had already taken a leaflet, he would take one more because he wanted to pass it on to someone else.
