On the 5th of November 2022 at 10am in the morning until 2pm in the afternoon, about hundred Falun Gong practitioners from Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Denmark gathered in the culture center-Gotaplatsen in Gothenburg, to display to the Swedish people the beauty of Falun Dafa by showing them the exercise practice, handing out truth clarification flyers, displaying banners and by a waist drum demonstration, thus exposing the CCP’s brutal persecution of Falun Gong practitioners and celebrating 400 million Chinese people quitting the CCP and its affiliated organisations.

Falun Gong practitioners had not yet finished placing the display boards, when the passers-by were already impatiently asking for materials. Right up until the activities concluded, the people who came to know about Falun Gong came along in a continuous stream. The weather, which was originally rain, turned from cloudy to sunny, and moreover for a time the sunshine which came out livened things up for the Falun Gong practitioners’ activities in northern Europe.

Two women stood by one side and conversed with a Falun Gong practitioner for a very long time, from the topics of the CCPs persecution of Falun Gong, their infringing upon human rights to the sliding down of human morality leading to the chaotic situation in the world, and in the end, they talked about the characteristic of the universe, “Zhen, Shan, Ren” (“Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance”).
They were on their way to take part in a protest activity. After meeting a Falun Gong practitioner by chance, they were drawn in by his peaceful energy field. The young woman, who came from Iran expressed: “If there was no more evil CCP in the world, then the dictatorship in Iran and other dictatorships in the world wouldn’t last for long.”
Her companion spoke gravely and earnestly and said: “The world truly needs Truthfulness, Compassion, Tolerance!”.
A psychological counsellor: I need the righteous energy of Falun Gong

Poulina is a polish woman. A year and a half ago she came to Sweden to live here. In Sweden her job is as a psychological counsellor. She hopes she can help people find inner peace. Even so, she expressed that she herself needs more righteous energy.
When she was in Poland, a colleague of hers practiced Falun Gong and was rejoicing at having found Falun Gong. Although at the time she had developed curiosity towards Falun Gong, because she was busy with work this curiosity lessened. After she attentively read the Falun Gong leaflets, she said: “I’m very lucky that I came across you guys here.”
She sided with Falun Gong practitioners and understood a lot regarding the matter of Falun Gong. She took into her hands the copy of “Zhuan Falun” that was on the table and started to read it and felt that the energy in this book was very great, and she said: “I need the righteous energy of Falun Gong”. When she saw Falun Gong practitioners start to meditate, she urgently sat together with Falun Gogn practitioners, and whilst learning the movements from Falun Gong practitioners started to meditate.
A Swedish Old lady: “I will also spread your joy”

An Old lady who was resting on her walking stick, first took a photo of “this is happening right now in China: Falun gong practitioners organs are being harvested”. When she heard the sound of the waist drum group starting she was immediately drawn in by the waist drum performance. She stopped in her steps, looked at them fixedly for a while, and then took out her mobile phone to record the scene. Whilst she was recording, she was full of smiles.
As a matter of fact, she wanted to go to the music hall and meet with some other old friends of hers, and her path took her here. She had heard a friend of hers tell her the news that the CCP was persecuting Falun Gong, and she felt very furious.
“Every Saturday we go for a coffee at the concert hall. To bump into you guys is an unexpected and pleasant surprise.” After coming to know that the waist drum is an instrument from Chinese traditional culture and is mostly used for cheerful and jubilant occasions, when she heard the good news that 400 million people quit the CCP and its affiliated organizations, she smiled and said: “This certainly is good news! I will also spread your joy, and will share it with my friends in a little while.”
Some young people: “All of us signed our names to support you”

A group of young people were drawn in by the scene of Falun Gong practitioners’ activities, and one after another ran to our information table to learn more about the situation. Amongst them, one young person took the petition book into his hands and carefully read it. After reading it, he took the initiative to pick up his pen to sign his own name in the petition book. Afterwards he told his friends about the inner content of the petition. Hence his friends also started to sign their names one after the other.
Falun Gong practitioners told them about the beauty of Falun Dafa, and the persecution against Falun Gong practitioners that has continued for more than 23 years. After they went one step further in understanding the truth, they started to discuss this together at the same time. Amongst them one said: “We have all signed our name to support you.”
A Falun Gong practitioner came forward and handed them some small Lotus flowers which were handmade, moreover told them that on the flowers were two QR codes (square barcodes which lead to websites when scanned on a computer or mobile phone), and that they could use them to access the related Falun Dafa websites to more deeply come to understand Falun Gong. They very happily appreciated the lotus flowers in their hands, and once again expressed thanks to the Falun Gong practitioners.
When the waist drum music started again, they very happily left whilst stomping to the drumbeat.
