Austria: Falun Dafa at the Natural Health Fair in Salzburg

On March 29th and 30th 2003, a natural health fair was held in Salzburg, Austria. Since the organiser of the fair and local Falun Gong practitioners often hold activities together, the organiser invited the local practitioners to participate in the fair.

This was a great opportunity for practitioners to tell more people about Falun Gong and expose the Jiang regime’s brutal and inhuman persecution of Falun Gong practitioners to the people of Salzburg. Practitioners were very happy to get the opportunity to take part in this event and they were joined by other practitioners from Vienna and South Germany.

During the weekend, there was a spell of great weather and many people did not want to go indoors and look around the fair. This gave practitioners more time to talk to interested people in depth. Many people wanted to learn the exercises immediately. One man told practitioners that he has practised Falun Gong at home for quite a while, and was surprised to learn that there are many others practising the exercises. He said that he will contact the coordinator of his local Falun Gong practice site as soon as possible.

In addition to the exhibition, a local practitioner also prepared a report to introduce Falun Gong, the persecution of Falun Gong in China, Falun Gong’s peaceful activities and Jiang’s suppression of overseas Falun Gong practitioners. The organiser visited our exhibition booth twice to praise our display and to say thanks to practitioners for taking part in the fair.
