Falun Dafa practitioner Li Xifang, female, 58-years-old, lived in the Tuanjie Residential District of Tonghua City, Jilin Province. In mid-September 2001, she went to Tiananmen Square to validate Dafa and was arrested by the Beijing Police. On September 17, the Tuanjie police sent people along with Li's family members to Beijing to see her, but on September 18, they received the sad news that Li Xifang had suddenly died in a detention centre there. The police officers claimed that she had committed suicide, but considering the fact that the Chinese authorities have consistenly lied and acted with utter disregard for human life when dealing with Falun Gong, we will continue to investigate the details of her death until the truth is revealed.
We hope that the loss of this Falun Dafa practitioner's life will awaken more people who have been deceived by Jiang Zemin's criminal regime.
