A "610 Office" employee had reported and abducted many Falun Dafa practitioners. One of the practitioners who had been previously abducted, after been freed from prison, forgave this "610 Office" [The "610 Office" is an agency specifically created to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems.] employee's wrong-doings, explained the truth to him about Falun Gong and cautioned him that everybody will be responsible for his own deeds. The employee was worried about bearing that responsibility. Several other Dafa practitioners who had been persecuted as a direct result of his orders also found him and confronted him, making him realise that no matter how hard he tries to cover up the evil deeds that he had committed, they would be known to others. Dafa practitioners pointed out the consequences of what he was doing, and helped him understand that the trouble he would bring to himself and to his family outweighed the profit he made from cooperating with the evil authorities. After hearing the truth from several Dafa practitioners and from different aspects, he decided not to be against Dafa anymore. He no longer actively cooperates with Jiang's evil regime. He reduces major issues into minor ones and minor ones into nothing; he avoids carrying out the evil tasks that are pushed onto him by his superiors by postponing and delaying them. He has also promised that he would let Dafa practitioners know if he heard anything from his superiors about when they may try to persecute any Falun Dafa practitioners.
The Progression of a Man's Thoughts as He Heard the Truth from Different Perspectives
After hearing the truth from a Dafa practitioner the first time, one person asked, "Is it true that, even though I don't practise Falun Gong or believe in Falun Gong, as long as I am not against Falun Gong I will be OK?" He also announced, "I am not against Falun Gong." Later he heard the truth from a variety of different angles by those who had learned the truth from practitioners and their family members. In response, he said, "Although I don't practise Falun Gong I believe in what it says." On World Falun Dafa Day, May 13, a Dafa practitioner's family clarified the true facts to him for a third time, and then he said, "I believe in it. I will practise Falun Gong once I retire."
A Doctor in Philosophy Learns the Truth
A person with a Ph.D in Philosophy judged Dafa from his own point of view and said some bad things about Dafa. In the beginning of 2000, he received some emails that clarified the truth that had been sent by some Dafa practitioners whom lived abroad. He kept the emails as documentation for study, but he still had prejudices against Dafa. Later, fate led him to meet a Falun Dafa practitioner in person. The practitioner explained the facts to him from many perspectives, including the belief in human rights, science and history, and the truth of the persecution. The Doctor of Philosophy not only accepted these, but he also agreed to use his position to share the truth with his well-known friends.
A Stubborn Atheist Accepts the Truth
The wife of an official didn't believe that Dafa practitioners are bad people; however she did not believe the true facts about Falun Gong. Since the summer of 2000, she kept receiving truth-clarifying materials from various Falun Dafa practitioners, but she still did not believe in what was stated. One time when she was visiting Hong Kong as a tourist. As soon as she landed in the Hong Kong airport she met some Dafa practitioners handing out truth-clarifying materials. She thought "Falun Gong is legal in Hong Kong"! After learning this fact she was shocked. She suddenly realised that what she had read in the leaflets was all true. Her husband was also surprised when he heard about it from his wife. They started to re-think the Falun Gong issue. Later a Dafa practitioner explained the truth to the official (her husband) face-to-face; but he was unsuccessful in his efforts because he didn't clearly explain one issue. After the Dafa practitioner went back to look at some more materials, he sincerely told the official, "Last time I was not clear about this issue myself, but now I have come to understand it. Here is some related material that explains the facts more clearly than I did." The Dafa practitioner's honesty about his own shortcomings earned the respect of the official. The official carefully reconsidered his point of view. The change in the official also promoted a change in his stubborn wife. Now they both understand the truth and have started to tell other people about the true situation of Falun Dafa; they've even started to read Dafa books.
