Poem: A Moment in Meditation

Distance melts into nothing.
Closeness and remoteness turn inside out.
In stillness there is movement
In movement, stillness.

The mind is still, moving according to the cosmos.
The mind is tranquil, filled with the Law’s light.
Self-aware, but selfless;
The heart is only concerned about others.

Without intention, the universe works it’s wonders,
The Law Wheel rotates, infinite beauty is revealed.
One cannot save beings by oneself;
To allow them to know of the Great Law is the highest mercy.
