Poem: Because you are lost
A poem to share, written by a westerner, about disciples in China
2003-07-11
Because you are lost You take from me My freedom Disrespect me as a person
Because you are lost Words of hatred pour from your heart Your eyes are cruel and sad
Because you are lost You strike at me Brutality and rage You break my body
Even take my life
Because you are lost My heart is calm and clean Concerned for your future
Because you are lost Compassion flows I will show you What you have forgotten
Because you are lost The light shines through me Your demons will whither under such mercy
A magnificent display
Being lost is a decision |
