UK: Report on the SOS Car Tour to Rescue our Persecuted Family Members (3)

UK Dafa practitioners’ SOS Car Tour has visited six cities in the south-west of England in the last few days. The practitioners brought the truth of Falun Dafa to these cities and handed in appeal letters to local Councillors, calling on them to help rescue UK practitioners’ persecuted family members and end the persecution of Falun Gong by Jiang’s regime.

Not wanting to miss an opportunity to tell people the facts, the practitioner who was driving decorated his car. The rear window was painted with colourful and eye-catching Chinese characters reading “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance” and the English words “Falun Dafa is Good.” The driver said that on this Fa-rectification journey, his car would tell the truth to passers-by wherever it went and let them know that Falun Gong has spread widely overseas.

We arrived at the first city and handed in our appeal letter to the local Council. Then, we went to the city centre to promote Falun Dafa. We wore yellow T-shirts printed with the Chinese characters of “Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance,” and the English words “Falun Dafa Is Good.” When we arrived at the city centre, one Chinese man asked a practitioner for a leaflet before we even started handing them out. How did he know that we were Falun Gong practitioners? Because he recognised us from the yellow T-shirts we were wearing. It seems that to wear a Dafa T-shirt and maintain righteous thoughts can really help us tell people the facts. We found that some Chinese people were shocked by our yellow T-shirts; it was really quite a surprise for them to see Falun Gong outside of China.

The city centre was overflowing with people. We treasured every chance we got to give a leaflet to a member of the public. Some of the people hurriedly walked past us and then came back to take a leaflet. The children were the most curious. They held out their hands to take a leaflet with smiling happy faces. Time was passing quickly; we had already handed out all of the leaflets. Therefore, we said goodbye to this city and went on our journey to the next one.

In the following few days, we visited another five cities and handed in appeal letters to all of the local Councillors. When we told them the facts about Falun Gong and that we were visiting them to let them know the truth about what is happening in China, they were very happy to take the letters. At the same time, we also promoted Falun Dafa in the five cities. In Bath, we practised the exercises and promoted the Fa in the city centre. Many people saw our yellow T-shirts and our exercise demonstration. Some of them even stopped to take a photo of us. To meet so many kind people gave us more confidence to promote Falun Dafa and tell people the facts. We handed out a leaflet to a senior citizen who told us that he saw us practising two months ago and felt impressed by the exercises. He was delighted to encounter us again and expressed his willingness to learn more about Falun Dafa. Two months ago, practitioners visited Bath University to tell the students about Falun Gong; it was a very effective way of validating the Fa and there were of course many Chinese students there. They are most in need of hearing the truth after being poisoned by Jiang’s propaganda.

Throughout the whole journey, we felt particularly pleased to see so many people learn the truth about Falun Dafa. Dafa is deeply rooted in people’s hearts, awakening their compassion and conscience. We will go on with our SOS Car Tour. We will encourage more people, whether they are Chinese, western or any other nationality, to see how Falun Dafa is practised all over the world, and that Dafa practitioners are being subjected to brutal persecution by Jiang Zemin and his regime. Furthermore, we will call on Jiang to stop persecuting innocent people.
