Newly-Wed Practitioner Doctor Tortured to Death in Xindian Forced Labour Camp

July 24th report: Li Huiwen, 32 years old, was a doctor at the Yangquan Mineral Bureau in Shanxi Province. He lived at No. 8 in Unit 2, Bldg 15, Guanxiangtai, Yangquan City, Shanxi Province. Li Huiwen obtained Falun Dafa in Taiyuan City in 1996 and persisted in Dafa practice. Fifty days after he got married, thugs from Yuangquan City Police Department and the city "610 Office" tricked him to a brainwashing class to persecute him. Li Huiwen refused to give up Dafa practice and was brutally tortured. He was illegally sentenced to one year of forced labour. On February 26, 2003, he was tortured to death at the Xindian Labour Camp in Taiyuan City. [The "610 Office" is an agency specifically established to persecute Falun Gong, with absolute power over each level of administration in the Party and all other political and judiciary systems].

Details:

One of the victims was a male Falun Dafa practitioner in his 30s who worked at the Shanxi Yangquan Mineral Bureau's Fifth Mine. His name is unknown, but we know that his wife, Mrs. Zhang Wenli was also jailed at one time in the Xindian Labour Camp for not giving up her belief in Dafa. This male practitioner was illegally sentenced to forced labour in 2002 and sent to the Xindian Labour Camp in Taiyuan City. After this year's Spring Festival, he went on a hunger strike for over 40 days to protest the unjust persecution. He was savagely force-fed, which led to his death.
