Silently they sit by our sides;
Quietly we know the cruel torture will be over;
The brutal killing will be ended,
And the persecution will be concluded.
Quietly we feel how our power is changing the reality.
These words, spoken with tears in her eyes, concluded the speech of a Falun Gong representative, made during two days of activities held in Berlin Memorial Church Square. Falun Gong practitioners from northern and eastern Germany had gathered together to hold the two-day event with the themes of Public Trial of Jiang Zemin for Genocide and Immediately Stop the Persecution of Falun Gong. Her speech urged the kind-hearted German people to support the legal and moral trial of the Chinese dictator. More and more people in China and in the west have learned the crimes of persecution of Falun Gong, and more and more governments and various human rights organisations have strongly condemned this persecution. Whats even better is that with the efforts of practitioners, both inside and outside of China, more and more Chinese people have seen through the lies and propaganda. Over the past four years, Falun Gong practitioners have remained steadfast with extraordinary courage and perseverance. They have become more rational, mature and upright despite being under tremendous pressure. The Jiang regimes persecution of Falun Gong outside of China has completely failed. In China, the evil is on its last legs. This persecution will eventually end and the evil dictator will be subject to justice, moral trial and punishment.
In another speech, a Falun Gong practitioner exposed the crimes committed by former Chinese President Jiang Zemin, as he ordered and controlled the persecution of Falun Gong, to the German public. Under his orders, the nationwide Gestapo-like organisation called the 610 Office was established on June 10 1999 to persecute Falun Gong practitioners. After he failed in his promise to eliminate Falun Gong within three months, he implemented the policy of Tarnishing Falun Gongs reputation; Cutting off Falun Gongs financial resources; Killing Falun Gong members. Thus millions of Falun Gong practitioners have been arbitrarily arrested, beaten, imprisoned or forcefully brainwashed, and at least 757 Falun Gong practitioners have been persecuted to death. Chinas state-controlled media has been spreading lies, instigating hatred and forcing the Chinese people to oppose Falun Gong, which has damaged the conscience, morality and humanity of the nation.
On behalf of Human Rights International, the chairman of the German International Human Rights Association attended the assembly on Saturday and gave a speech to show the organisations support for Falun Gong. He said that Human Rights International fully supports the trial against Chinese dictator Jiang Zemin, who should take full responsibility for the persecution of Falun Gong. Human Rights International will first morally support the trial against Jiang Zemin. Meanwhile it is considering how to initiate a lawsuit against Jiang Zemin and others who should be held accountable according to German law. In addition, he emphasised that Human Rights International will continue to urge the German government to further condemn the Chinese governments persecution of Falun Gong, and ask the Chinese government to immediately stop this barbarian and inhuman persecution, and immediately release all the Falun Gong practitioners now suffering imprisonment.
The coordination among practitioners in this two-day activity was good, and everybody could feel the righteous and compassionate atmosphere. Passers-by accepted flyers from practitioners one after another, and wanted to know more about the truth of Falun Gong. Many people also signed their names to support the public trial of Jiang Zemin, and demanded the release of former Berlin University student Ms. Xiong Wei, and a US citizen Charles Li.
