United States: Taiwan Minghui Falun Gong School Students Attend Washington DC Falun Dafa Conference

From July 19-22, 2003, about five thousand Falun Gong practitioners from all over the world gathered in Washington DC to attend the Falun Dafa experiences sharing conference and participate in many other activities. There were about 1200 Falun Gong practitioners from Taiwan, including a few dozen young practitioners from the Minghui Schools of Taipei and other cities, who came with their parents.

On the date of the conference (July 20, 2003) the young practitioners from all countries, wearing school uniforms stood in two lines while waiting to enter the conference hall. Before entering the hall, they recited "Hong Yin" [collection of Master Li Hongzhi's poems] together. This caused a lot of attention from practitioners and passersby. Many practitioners turned to each other saying, "Look, students from the Minghui School. They are all wearing school uniforms!"

During the four days of activities, students from Minghui school participated in concerts, the grand parade, the candle light vigil, group practise, distributing truth-clarifying flyers and the press conference about the lawsuit against Jiang.

While in Washington DC, many administrators of the Minghui Schools in different countries held a small experience sharing meeting. The attendees introduced and shared their experiences about the establishing and current situation of Minghui Schools. The meeting gave a clear direction for the future development of Minghui Schools.
