Mr. Bai Xiaojun, 35 years old, had a Master's degree in philosophy. After July 20, 1999, he was illegally detained numerous times for persisting in Dafa practise. In July 2000, he was sentenced to one year of forced labour for going to Beijing to appeal. He was detained at the Weizigou Labour Camp in Changchun City, Jilin Province. During this detention he was brutally tortured and severely injured, and was forcefully sent to the Xinglongshan Brainwashing Centre. He was later sent to the Chaoyanggou Labour Camp in Changchun City. On July 18, 2003 he was sadly tortured to death. The persecution of Bai Xiaojun and his brother Bai Shaohua was reported on Dafa website's.
Bai Xiaojun was detained at Division Four in the Chaoyanggou Labour Camp. In early June 2003, Bai Xiaojun vomited whatever he ate because of the severe tortures he had suffered. He was so weak from all the torment that he could not stand up. He told the division chief Fu Guohua and the guards about his situation. He asked if the kitchen could cook some noodles for him, but nobody did. He didn't get any noodles until he was too weak to support himself, and was bedridden and on the verge of death. By this time, he was extremely emaciated and could not eat anything. He could not even drink water.
On June 30, Division Four was dissolved because Dafa practitioner Yan Guozhu escaped with a righteous mind. Bai Xiaojun was sent to Team One of Division One. Several people were sent to take care of him. On July 6, Bai Xiaojun was dying. He was carried out of Team One before he died. During this whole time, the labour camp authorities never sent Bai Xiaojun to a hospital. The only treatment Bai Xiaojun received was an intravenous drip from the labour camp medical staff. During the time between Bai Xiaojun's confinement to bed up until his death, the guards and the inmates never stopped verbally abusing him.
