Japan: Practitioners Call for the Release of Yoko Kaneko Prior to the Upcoming Visit of the Chinese Foreign Minister to Japan

It has been reported that Chinese Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing will be visiting Japan on August 10. Falun Gong practitioners came to the Foreign Affairs Ministry to peacefully appeal and call for Japanese Foreign Minister Yoriko Kawaguchi to officially request the Chinese Foreign Minister to release the wife of a Japanese citizen, Falun Gong practitioner Yoko Kaneko, who is illegally detained in China, and also to demand that the Chinese government immediately end the brutal persecution of Falun Gong. The appeal will continue until Li Zhaoxing leaves Japan on August 13.
