Where did "Repentance Statements" and "Fingerprints" Come from?

At the beginning of 2001, I went to Tiananmen Square to clarify the truth about Falun Dafa. After being beaten by the police at the Square, I was sent to Mentougou District Police Department. I refused to cooperate with the evil people and was thus kept on the police vehicle. About an hour later, a police officer came to the vehicle with a piece of paper in his hand. As soon as he came, three other officers pulled me down by my hair and arms and held my hand forcing me to put a fingerprint on that piece of paper against my will. I later learned that it was a so-called "Repentance Statement" and thus I requested, "I am a Dafa practitioner, I did not do anything wrong being a good person, I had nothing to repent, please destroy the false statement." However, I could not get them to return the false statement to me.

The police yelled at me, "We do not have enough room to detain you in Beijing, get out of here." They threw me out of the vehicle while cursing at me.

I called a taxi. When the taxi driver learned that I was a Dafa practitioner, he said, "I understand what you say. You are all good people, I drove several Dafa practitioners today."

This is how Jiang Zemin's Regime came up with many of these "Repentance Statements" and "Fingerprints." They forced practitioners to sign their names on those "Repentance Statements" against their will. Most of those statements are fabricated by the police to meet quotas set by the Jiang Regime and avoid being implicated themselves.
