"To Remember the Fa in Our Hearts" and “To Put the Fa into Our Hearts"

When reading the article Golden Buddha with Master’s Comment, I usually misread one sentence in the 7th paragraph, “Only when we can truly at every moment and at every place put the Fa into our hearts to continually measure ourselves against," as "Only when we can truly at every moment and at every place remember the Fa in our hearts..." After having repeated the same mistake several times, I then began to take notice of the difference. "To remember the Fa in our hearts" is the expression I used when writing an article about how to do the Dafa work. Taking a closer look at the expression, I find that the way I used the word Fa actually refers to the Dafa work. That is, I meant "to focus my attention on my ‘Dafa work" very similar to everyday people’s remark, "to concentrate on my work." (Maybe it is my own problem, not the problem of other fellow practitioners.) In fact, doing so I am putting emphasis on the attention and commitment to my work.

On the other hand, "to put the Fa into our hearts" refers to our attitudes, whether or nor we regard our work or even our daily behaviour as part of our cultivation, or whether we put the Fa into our hearts at every moment, regard ourselves as practitioners at every moment and cultivate ourselves by the standard of the Fa. Just like the fellow practitioner said in Golden Buddha, "Doing Dafa work for long periods of time without thinking of anything else does not necessarily mean that a person is constantly in a state of mind of what a Dafa disciple should be."

The comparison between the two expressions marks the differences. The former is just "doing Dafa work" while the latter is "cultivating ourselves." The reason why I usually misread the expression is that I have just been doing the Dafa work instead of cultivating my mind.
