Belgium: Dafa Practitioners Appeal to Punish Jiang Zemin, the Prime Criminal in the Persecution of Falun Gong

On December the 16th, Dafa practitioners in Belgium held a peaceful appeal in front of the Chinese embassy to call for a public trial to punish Jiang Zemin, the main culprit in the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners. Jiang Zemin is the former president of China, who in July 1999 issued an order to mobilise the Chinese state resources to suppress Falun Gong.

It has been four years since the beginning of this persecution and to date 841 have died as a result of it, 100, 000 people being illegally imprisoned and tortured, tens of thousands of families have been implicated, many people have lost their basic righs to work or study and even overseas Falun Gong practitioners have been enveloped by the shadow of this terrifying suppression. Jiang has committed the severe crime of genocide and many Falun Gong practitioners have already sued Jiang Zemin and his accomplices.
