Since Jiang Zemin started to persecute Falun Gong, every New Year's Eve Falun Gong practitioners in Japan come to the Chinese Embassy to peacefully call for the immediate end of the brutal persecution.
Commemorating Mainland fellow practitioners who have been persecuted to death | Sending righteous thoughts in front of the Chinese Embassy |
On December 31, 2003, practitioners gathered again at the Chinese embassy to commemorate Changchun practitioner Liu Chengjun and all fellow practitioners who have died as a result of the Jiang regime's persecution. The practitioners displayed a banner that read, "Bring the Murderers to Justice, Stop Persecuting Falun Gong", and sent righteous thoughts at the top of every hour from 10 am to 1 am of the next day. Some practitioners from Kanto and other areas also came to support this event.
Because practitioners have emphasized group study [of the main text of Falun Gong Zhuan Falun] and sharing recently, as a whole the practitioners in Japan have improved significantly, and the field of this appeal was very serene. Some practitioners could feel the powerful energy field when they were sending righteous thoughts and felt very warm, even though it was very cold and windy. When studying the Fa, the practitioners felt very pure with no interference. The police on duty used to be very concerned and tried to limit the size of our appeal. However, this year they were very relaxed and didn't bring up this issue. Many passersby and passing vehicles slowed down to read our banners. During the appeal, we received news of Master's greeting to Dafa disciples around the world. After reading Master's new article, our spirits were uplifted.
When the public is celebrating the new year at home, with our special way we welcomed the new year at the Chinese embassy. We hereby call on all kind-hearted people, governments, and organizations around the world to join us to end this brutal persecution.
