Upon hearing about the Chinese regime’s escalating oppression against Falun Gong, Norwegian practitioners appealed on February the 23rd outside the Chinese Embassy. They called on the world to bring Jiang Zemin, Luo Gan, Liu Jing and Zhou Yongkang to justice for their heinous crimes in persecuting Falun Gong. Local media reported on this by publishing a feature article entitled “To appeal against the suppression of Falun Gong in China by practising exercises - Falun Gong practitioners died from brutal torture”.
One day, the thermometer was below 6 degrees Fahrenheit. Practitioners came to the sidewalk opposite the Chinese Embassy to display banners and appeal. They started to practice the Falun Gong exercises and send forth righteous thoughts.
Journalists and photographers from two newspaper offices came to the scene to interview practitioners. A journalist from Our Country reported: “On the sidewalk covered with snow, nine people closed their eyes and followed the tender music to practise exercise in the bleak wind. The followers of Falun Gong appealed outside the Chinese Embassy to protest against the brutal torture of Falun Gong practitioners by the Chinese government."
After learning that practitioners are being persecuted in China, a passer-by noted, “Remember this: Even if it looks that there is no hope. You can not give up. I wish you luck!”
A representative of the practitioners read the open letter to the Ambassador and officials of the Chinese Embassy. In the letter, they appealed to end the oppression of practitioners by the Chinese regime and stop the suppression of people's consciences.
