The progress of Fa-rectification is rapid and the problems to be solved in other dimensions are big, not to count the thousands of things to be done in this dimension. In order to be able to endure the physical and nonphysical pressure brought about in this respect, we have to constantly maintain the state of a god in our actions and thoughts. Only then can we accomplish what we have to do.
Even though the form of cultivating in this Fa-rectification is ever-changing, the form of cultivation set by our Master(1) is group study of the teachings of Falun Gong, group exercise as well as conferences where we can share our experiences that we have had in our cultivation. This cannot be changed. Function groups for different projects cannot replace our Fa(2) study groups, work meetings on saving sentient beings cannot replace the exchange of experiences in our Fa study groups. What Master has set is the Fa. If we depart from the Fa, then there is nothing to talk about.
It is frightening to lose a Fa study group. Without the environment to study the Fa quietly and exchange experiences openly, cultivators will not be able to solve their cultivation problems in a timely manner and raise their level. This is the fundamental reason why various matters to be completed in this period of time cannot progress quickly. In the end, it is sentient beings who suffer the loss.
Presently, should we as true practitioners concentrate on quickly reinstating Fa study groups that are unaffected by any other specific matters? Places where three or five, eight or ten people, every week set a time to study the Fa and exchange experiences together just like it was before the crackdown of Falun Gong happened in China in 1999. Let our Fa study groups blossom like flowers everywhere, where every practitioner has a chance to exchange experiences, thus problems encountered during cultivation can be promptly exposed and resolved. Consequently, our performance in all aspects of Fa rectification as one body will be different.
The above are just my personal understandings. Fellow practitioners, please kindly correct me.
(1) Here the writer is referring to the founder of Falun Gong, Mr Li Hongzhi. In China it is common to refer to someone who has an advanced understanding or skill in something as Master or Teacher as a sign of respect.
(2) Fa can be translated as "law and principles in the Buddha school."
