Saipan: Introducing Dafa at the 23rd Flame Tree Art Festival

On Saipan Island, middle and late April is flame tree blossoming season and it provides a good opportunity for practitioners to spread Falun Dafa because the local government holds an annual phoenix flower art festival during this period. Just like previous years, dozens of Saipan and Taiwan Falun Gong practitioners participated in this annual event.

Practitioners encountered interference at the beginning of their participation. Saipan Falun Gong practitioners provisionally prepared a dance program "The Flying Falun," however, the event host initially didn't approve practitioners' request to perform the dance on stage. After going through many difficulties, the host organization eventually agreed to allow practitioners to perform the dance. Through the dance, practitioners presented the beauty of Falun Dafa to tourists from many countries and regions. The dance concluded in enthusiastic applause. After the performance, the host said in Chinese: "Falun Dafa is great."

Throughout the event, in front of the stage, Taiwan and Saipan practitioners were taking turns to display a banner reading "Falun Dafa is Great" in both English and Chinese. Some people from Mainland China were surprised when they saw the banner.
