On May 8, North Carolina Falun Dafa practitioners gathered at Duke Gardens to celebrate World Falun Dafa Day.
The Duke Gardens is one of the famous attractions of the North Carolina Technology Triangle area. When flowers blossom in Spring, the scenery is quite beautiful, and many tourists come to appreciate the landscape. This May 8th was also when the graduation ceremony of Duke University was held. Practitioners hoped that this event would let more everyday people learn about Falun Dafa.
Practitioners prepared many programs such as a poem recital, singing and instrument performance, and offered candy and cookies. Practitioners also used colourful lotus flowers and balloons to decorate the event site. Many tourists couldn't help taking photos of the practitioners' event. Some asked questions about what is Falun Dafa. Many tourists commented that Falun Dafa is so graceful and asked about information about Falun Dafa practice sites.
