Early during Christmas in 2003, when they gathered in Erbach in Odenwald, a number of practitioners set up a counselling group to help their children practice cultivation.

After successful experiences in Erbach, several western practitioners working in the field of child education, together with some other practitioners, held the first official Minghui School activity in Chiemsee, Southern Germany, between April 10th and April 12th. The children participating in this activity were aged between two and six. In the beginning there were six children sitting around the table of the Minghui room. They introduced themselves to each other. Some of them already knew each other. They recited the poem “To be Relieved” from Master's book of poems, Hongyin, and read aloud together.

“To be Relieved”
Predestined relationship as we’ve got,
We’re cultivating Dafa;
The more we study,
The closer we are to consummation.

The atmosphere was very peaceful and harmonious. The young practitioners were focussed and the room was filled with Dafa energy. It was good to see when they hung their self-portraits in order on the wall next to the photo of our Master’s Buddha-picture, which brought them closer to Dafa and our great Master.

A Chinese practitioner whose mother, Hsu Youlin, is locked up in a labour camp, told stories about his mother and all the children were completelyabsorbed in listening to them. Afterwards, they helped the mother by sending forth righteous thoughts .

The children also made post cards and mailed them to labour camps in China. A four year old practitioner wrote his wish in the card, “I hope Hsu Yalin is well and that the policemen do not beat her.”
