Falun Gong practitioners from the Czech republic, Slovakia and Hungary used Hu Jintao's visit to Hungary as an opportunity to let more people know the facts about the persecution of Falun Gong in China and to appeal to the Hungarian media. They visited local newspapers and a radio station to talk about the abuse that practitioners of Falun Gong suffer in China. They also stressed that the Minister of Commerce Bo Xilai, who was on official visit in Budapest, has been the subject of lawsuits in countries around the world for his crimes against humanity. They also gave a gift of beautiful lotus flowers made from coloured paper to media personnel they talked to.
At the same time, a "Sports Day" event took place in Budapest and Falun Gong had a stand there. Many passers-by enjoyed the beauty of the exercises, learned about the situation and some even started to learn the exercises on the spot. Many people wished us success with our efforts to bring the persecution to an end.

Practitioners also used this opportunity to appeal at the Chinese embassy in Budapest. One passer-by, when he saw a group of people in yellow T-shirts outside the embassy, asked us if he could take a picture. When he left, he wished us all the best.
