Dutch Falun Gong practitioners started a project to let children know more about Falun Gong. After the practitioners sent information to schools in the Netherlands, a school near Rotterdam took the initiative and invited the practitioners to tell them more about Falun Gong, the exercises and the persecution in China. The project comes in the wake of the "Petals of peace" project that was formed to support the Chinese children who lost their parents because of the persecution in China.
On July the 5th, a group of practitioners did a morning activity at the school, demonstrating and explaining the exercises and teaching the children how to fold lotus flowers.
The idea for this day of activities came from a teacher of the school who read the "Petals of Peace" materials that practitioners had sent to schools to let the children know about the serious situation in China. The teacher then invited the practitioners.
