Finding 150 Yuan Becomes an Opportunity to Show the Truth about Falun Dafa

A few days ago, on the way back from delivering goods to a customer I found a set of tricycle licenses and 150 Yuan¹ in cash on the road. I immediately thought that I should find the owner as soon as I could, so as to return the licenses and the money as I thought that he must be very worried. What's more, through this incident I could also show many people that Falun Gong teaches people to be righteous. On that day, I started asking around to find the owner of the money. Because the person's name and photo were on the license, I asked many tricycle drivers, clarifying the truth about Falun Gong at the same time. In this way, all the people I asked learnt the facts about Falun Gong and genuinely understood the goodness of Dafa. Some people said, "You are a truly kind person. It is difficult to find a good person like you in today's society. Someone who'd selflessly return the money picked up on the road". I told them that I practice Falun Gong and our Teacher² tells Falun Gong practitioners to continually strive to be better people. Someone told me that when I'd found the owner who lost the articles, he'd show his thanks by giving me a reward. I said that I was not returning money for the sake of a reward, but that my intent was to let more people like them learn the truth about Falun Dafa and that it's not like what the propaganda on TV had publicised. Right at the moment when I was explaining the facts, a group of tricycle drivers came around. Some of them looked at me with admiration, some gave me a thumbs-up, some said, "Falun Dafa is very good", while others said, "Why don't you demonstrate the Falun Gong exercises right here!"

The next day I went to the market to continue the search. I clarified the facts to more people, and in the process I met a certain shop owner. In front of some people, he asked me why I would return the money that I found. I replied that I am a Falun Gong practitioner, one who strives to be a good person, who does not focus on fame and fortune, and who always thinks of others. He said, "You dare to talk about Falun Gong?" to which I replied, "Why not? People have freedom of belief, and we are not breaking any law." Then I described the truth about the Tiananmen staged- immolation incident staged by the Chinese regime, and with examples I explained that the event was a pre-planned setup. The shop owner again asked me: "What is your belief? I'd like to learn it too. How can I learn it?" I told the owner, "We believe in 'Truthfulness, Compassion, and Forbearance', and I can teach you the exercises for free if you would like to learn it."

After a while, they all understood and nodded to me with a smile. I eventually found the owner of the lost items and returned the money and the other related materials to him; he emotionally shook my hand and said, "Thank you so much my brother." I told him that it was no big deal, and the amount of money was small, but I knew that it would still take five or six days for a tricycle driver to earn 150 Yuan. His father came along, shook my hand and thanked me. I said, "Uncle, the thanks should go to Falun Dafa, if you really want to thank someone. This is what our Teacher has taught us to do." His son later wanted to treat me to dinner and offered me a 50 Yuan reward. I said that I could not take his money, and if I treasured money so much, would I have looked for him for two days? I let them know that my intent was to let them all learn through this event that Falun Dafa is truly good. I offered them a VCD about Falun Gong and told them to watch it with all their relatives. Thus, the father and son happily went home with the VCD.
