In order to inform the Hungarian people about Falun Dafa and to appeal for an end to the persecution of practitioners in China, some practitioners from Sweden, Australia and Taiwan went to Budapest, the capital of Hungary, on the 21st and 22nd of June.
A peaceful appeal was held outside the Chinese Embassy in Budapest. Leaflets were given out to passers-by. The Hungarian people were very supportive and one man said loudly to us, “My heart is with you!”
The policeman on duty outside the Chinese Embassy became very curious and wanted to know more about Falun Gong. He asked for the address of our local practice site where he can learn the exercises for free and said that he would like to come along.
One staff member from the Chinese Embassy came out and took some photos of us, but this did not stop us from talking to people about the persecution in China, including the embassy staff.
