The Falun Gong practitioners who went to Greece practised the exercises and sent forth righteous thoughts in the main square every morning. In the afternoon they studied the Fa and shared experiences together. The rest of the time they broke up into groups, travelling all over Athens to distribute information about Falun Gong.
Several practitioners went to the central park and distributed flyers to pedestrians sitting on the park benches. An old man who received a flyer said immediately, “I know Falun Gong. I saw your parade yesterday. You are all good people and I like you!”
When the practitioners went to a bakery to buy bread, they met a Chinese person who greeted and talked to them. He said he got Falun Gong literature and VCDs yesterday and read all of them right away. He was interested in the exercises and asked about the practise sites. Practitioners also went to the most famous sightseeing point in Athens, the “Acropolis”, to tell people about Falun Gong and the persecution. There’s a big rock close in front of the entrance where people can overlook the entire city. It’s the place where tourists and press photographers from every country take pictures. Several practitioners hung a banner reading "Falun Dafa is Good" on the rock and sat there sending forth righteous thoughts. As a result, this scene was recorded by video cameras as well as tourists cameras. When practitioners climbed down, a British reporter came and talked with them. When she learnt that Falun Gong practitioners are going to hold a literature and art performance in the ancient Greek arena next week, she asked for more details about the date and venue, and expressed her interest to understand Falun Gong more deeply.
