Thoughts About the Situation in New York

Looking through the pages of history, one can see the rise and fall of civilisations to the changing of dynasties that have occurred, showing that everything has a process with an outcome. With regards to warfare, it’s usually two or three big battles that determine the outcome. The present situation in New York and in Beijing are maybe just holding the balance, determining the overall situation. This big battle that is occurring in other dimensions between the righteous and the evil is likely to symbolise the total annihilation of the evil and the end of the old forces’ participation in this affair.

As the saying goes: “Maintaining an army for thousands of days, yet only using it once.” If we still cannot distinguish between what is primary and secondary at key times, whilst keeping a whole body as a starting point and appropriately arranging everything well then we are in a muddle ourselves. Therefore we must try our best, if we can, to participate during this key time, try our best to participate and support those Falun Gong practitioners in New York with their activities.

Once this is realised then those practitioners who really can’t go to New York should also make the best of this time to participate and organise local activities to introduce the true facts about Falun Gong. One may wander "Why is this great battle occurring?" If we look at the situation then we can see that the evil controlled the three realms in the past, and we were in a passive state, then through this war we will completely change from being passive to taking the initiative. This is not a simple issue and we have to look at it carefully.

When our local activities are still full of inconveniences and we sit at home to send righteous thoughts, can our righteous thoughts penetrate the evils screen and reach New York? No matter whether it’s the power of evil or the power of justice, they all form their own complete system. Our local activities should also act in accordance with the current cosmic climate. At present those Falun Gong practitioners in New York are holding torture exhibitions on the streets everyday, shouldn’t we also increase our local activities and place more emphasis on doing the three things well¹?

Actually the result of this battle between the righteous and evil has been determined before it even started, because the Fa [universal principle, the teachings of Falun Gong] will certainly succeed and the evil is doomed to failure. We are only trying to save more sentient being in the process, allowing more beings from the old universe, allowing the people of the world who risked the same heavenly courage to come down to the human world, to have a chance of entering the new universe. At this key moment and at this place which all the gods are watching, shouldn’t we rationally and clear mindedly do well?
