The Falun Dafa Association of India registered as a non-profit organisation in Bombay in September 2004, and became a legal group recognised by the Indian Government. The founding of the Association formally announces to the world that this ancient nation with the second largest population in the world has formally embraced Falun Dafa.
The Indian version of Falun Gong was published in February 2003, and Falun Gong practise sites have been established in many large Indian cities, including Bombay, New Bombay, and New Delhi. Falun Gong practitioners from overseas had been invited to introduce Falun Gong and demonstrate the exercises at several international conferences held in India.
Over the past several years, Indian practitioners have been telling all circles of Indian society about Falun Gong and the brutal persecution, including the Indian media. Practitioners helped to introduce "Sandstorm", a movie that exposes the Jiang regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong, to the Indian Movie Festival. Practitioners established an Indian Falun Dafa website and have been publishing a monthly journal about the spread of Falun Dafa in India. Moreover, the Indian version of Zhuan Falun is being translated.
Unlike many other nations and regions, cultivation is not a foreign term to Indians and Falun Dafa is well-respected. Indian practitioners welcome all practitioners from other countries and thank those who visit for their encouragement and support. Due to all kinds of limitations, many of us have not ever seen Master Li in person. We miss our Master and often express our gratefulness to our revered Master.
