Taiwan: Minghui School Opens in Chung-Li

In Taiwan, there are three administrative areas: Taoyuan, Neili and Chung-Li in Taoyuan County. Ever since Minghui Schools in Taoyuan and Neili opened, many children have benefited from the good environment of the schools to learn and practise Falun Gong and the principles of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance. To benefit the children in Chung-Li, a new Minghui School opened on October 23rd.

Students at the Minghui School range from kindergärtners to sixth graders, and mainly study Zhuan Falun [the main text of Falun Dafa] and Hong Yin [a collection of poems written by Master Li Hongzhi] in their Fa-study time. They concentrate so well that adults are greatly touched. One young boy looked very serious and devoted when reading the Fa [principles] aloud. He also showed great logic during discussion. Who would be able to tell he had been such a hyperactive child before? For the past two years, his mother was persistent in bringing him to group studies of Falun Dafa and to Minghui Schools in Taipei and Taoyuan. He has not only been very diligent in Fa-study, but also joined his mother and sister to clarify the truth about Falun Gong to people in mainland China.

After the Fa study, a Falun Gong practitioner talked about the persecution of Falun Gong practitioners in mainland China. The kind and innocent little practitioners came up with ideas of how to help those practitioners under persecution. They finally decided to write letters and draw pictures to clarify the truth to forced labour camps in China. Some children drew pictures of beautiful scenes of group exercise. Some drew red banners reading "Falun Dafa Is Good." Their kindness and innocence is a testament to the goodness that will eventually overcome the evil persecution.

The last activity was group exercise outdoors. It happened to be a windy and chilly day, but all the children stuck to the schedule and finished the first, third and fourth exercises. The parents and practitioners were convinced that Minghui School was the right and much-needed cultivation environment for the children.

With Minghui Schools all over the county now, we hope that the school in Chung-Li will get better and better through learning from Minghui Schools around the world. The seeds of Truthfulness-Compassion-Forbearance have been planted in increasing numbers of children's hearts.
