On the first two Saturdays in November, Swiss Dafa practitioners held anti-torture exhibitions in Aarau and Winterthur. Since the coming of winter, the weather in Switzerland has become chilly and unpredictable, with rain and snow. When we went to Winterthur on November the 13th, it was gloomy with heavy sleet all the way there. However, once we arrived there, it stopped snowing and the blue sky emerged unexpectedly with an increased temperature. The practitioners involved in the anti-torture exhibition were re-enacting the brutal methods of torture used in attempts to force people to give up practising Falun Gong in China. There was also a display of posters exposing the persecution in more detail. Leaflets were given to passers-by and many people signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution.
People not only signed the petition enthusiastically but also came to take some blank petitions so that they could go and collect signatures themselves. Some said that they would send them back to us once they finished collecting signatures, while others helped to collect signatures on the spot. Some children and teenagers took five or six pages of blank forms each to collect signatures for us. They returned the completed forms full of signatures quickly, and then took some more. Seeing so many people coming to know the truth about Falun Dafa, practitioners felt very pleased.
