Taiwan: Practitioners Introduce Falun Gong at the Annual Celebration of the Xinzhu County Hairdressing Trade Association

On November 20th, 2004, the Xinzhu County Hairdressing Trade Association held its annual celebration and invited Falun Gong practitioners to participate. The practitioners prepared an exercise demonstration and a musical performance, including a performance by ten young practitioners.

At 7 pm, the celebration began. First on the program was a demonstration exercise of the five Falun Gong exercises. In order to help everyone understand what Falun Gong is all about, one practitioner introduced Falun Dafa's guiding principles of Truth, Compassion, and Tolerance and discussed how cultivation practise promotes physical and mental health. Several members of the audience followed along with the exercise demonstration.

The young practitioners' music performance followed the exercise demonstration. The children sang the song, "Falun Dafa is Great." The youngest one among them was 3 years old and the eldest was a student in the sixth grade. Their touching performance received warm applause and acclaim. The program concluded with the practitioners singing a song entitled "Dedu," or "Be Saved." Practitioners also distributed information about Falun Gong and the persecution throughout the performance venue. Many in the audience expressed their interest in practising Falun Dafa and they earnestly read the Dafa literature. A banner with the words "Falun Dafa is Great" was displayed during the entire performance.
