On the 27th of November, Swiss practitioners held an anti-torture exhibition in Heri Sau and Appenrell on the borders of Switzerland, Germany and Austria, exposing the Jiang regime’s crimes against Falun Gong practitioners in China and letting people know more about the practice.
Local people from the mountain areas all took leaflets and enthusiastically signed a petition calling for an end to the persecution, although they had never heard about Falun Gong before. Some of them even helped the practitioners to give out leaflets. A child who got to know the truth went back to his parents and asked them to sign the petition to support Falun Gong, because he himself wasn’t old enough. When the parents heard their child describing the horrible situation of the persecution of Falun Gong in China, they promptly came to the exhibition site and read our posters before signing the petition.
One lady looked at a picture of a child in China longing to be with his parents, who are imprisoned because they practise Falun Gong. She was deeply moved by this picture. She pointed to a practitioner’s child and said with emotion, “He’s very lucky. If he was in China he would suffer and be treated badly.”
There was another gentleman who walked near to our stall. When a practitioner started telling him about the persecution and asked him if he would like to sign our petition, he hesitated at first, but a friend of his explained what the petition was for. This gentleman listened and started nodding and at last he signed his name.
In addition, when a few schoolchildren saw the practitioners demonstrating the sitting meditation exercise, they came and copied the movements.
