Germany: A Representative from a Human Rights Organisation Collects Signatures for Falun Gong at a Christmas Fair

On Christmas Eve, each German city, no matter whether big or small, holds the Holy Infant Fair. After the busy Kirta Fair in the Autumn, Falun Gong practitioners from Cham city held an information day at the traditional festival to tell the facts to people more thoroughly.

The weather was chilly and unpredictable, raining and snowing. The hail moistened our truth-clarification material and display boards; the strong wind seemed to be going to overturn our tent at any time. This did make us feel very anxious at the beginning. However, practitioners calmly dealt with the difficulty with strong righteous thoughts. The situation became better afterwards. The activity obtained massive support from Mr. Roemer, the representative of an international human rights organisation. He collected many signatures for rescuing Falun Gong practitioner Xu Youlin and bringing the prime culprit Jiang Zemin to justice.

In the afternoon the cloud disappeared and it stopped snowing, more and more people signed their names on our petition form. Due to the reports on the front page of the local newspapers “Cham Daily” and “Cham Times” about the announcement of the activity in advance, many people directly came to our stall to sign our petition. They also received a special Christmas greeting card prepared by Falun Gong practitioners. They were really appreciative and said that they would like to send the greeting cards to their friends and relatives to let more people know the truth of Falun Gong.
