A Taxi Ride and Trip to the Market Finds Members of the Public in Support Falun Gong in Panjin City, China

A taxi driver in Panjin city says: "Falun Gong is great. I will help you in your efforts to let more people know the truth about Falun Gong."

Once in Panjin city of Liaoning province in China, I took a taxi and spoke about Falun Gong and the true reasons behind the unlawful persecution to the driver. Along the way the driver grew more and more interested. After he thoroughly understood that the self-immolation on Tiananmen Square was fabricated by Jiang's political group for the purpose of persecuting Falun Gong, he said in a panic: "The Chinese Communist Party is horrible, really horrible. Only they could tell such a terrible lie. Is there any kind of bad deed they wouldn't dare to commit? It is already the most heinous crime to set fire and kill people, yet they even framed innocent people too. It is so evil!"

I could tell from the taxi driver's facial expression that the brutality Jiang Zemin and the Chinese Communist Party used to persecute Falun Gong frightened him. He went on and said excitedly: "I would rather believe in Falun Gong than in the Party. The Chinese Communist Party is so corrupt that I have completely lost confidence in it. The corrupt officials are all Party members. They say nice things but do bad deeds. They have deceived and hurt the people so much. Unemployment, monopolisation and the arrest of people who appeal to the government! It's happening everywhere. How can people make a living? There are absolutely no human rights."

Then he looked at me and said: "I support you and will always stand by your side. Falun Gong is great. I will help you in your efforts to let more people know the truth about Falun Gong in the future. I meet many people each day. I must tell every one of them the truth behind the staged self-immolation on Tiananmen Square." At the time the cab arrived at my destination, he voluntarily gave me his cell phone number and asked me to keep in contact with him in the future. He told me he still wanted to learn more about the persecution of Falun Gong.

A worker said: "Madam, let me help you pass them out."

A Falun Gong practitioner in Panjin city went to the local market to distribute factual materials about Falun Gong. A labourer came up and took all of the materials. The practitioner quickly said, "Don't take so many copies. One copy per person." But the labourer said: "Madam, let me help you pass them out."

The practitioner was happy to hear this and wished the labourer happiness. The labourer then said: "I know Falun Gong is good for me. When you come again later, please bring more types of the materials. We are so interested in reading them."

Another practitioner in Panjin city talked to a person about the truth about Falun Gong. After understanding the truth, the person said: "Falun Gong is so good. It should be taught in the school textbooks."

Another time when a practitioner clarified the truth about Falun Gong to a young man, the practitioner talked about Falun Gong being taught and spread in over sixty countries and other facts regarding Falun Gong. The young man could not wait to say: "So when can we learn to practise Falun Gong openly in China?"
