It was a warm Spring-like day on December 30th 2004. I saw the passing people prepare for the New Year and dress in customary style for the festival.

Several Cubans that we spoke to resented that dictators torture and persecute such good people. A Cuban wanted to learn the Falun Gong exercises immediately and said it must be a wonderful thing since the Communist Party cracks down on it so brutally.
A senior high school student told practitioners as he passed by that the favts about Falun Gong had been introduced in their school. He and all his fellow students think Falun Gong is very good.
A group of children came over and asked for leaflets about Falun Gong to give to their parents, friends and teachers.
A middle-aged man said he had tried to find a place where he could learn to practice Falun Gong for a long time and he found it in the long run right here. A practitioner who could speak English chatted with him for a long time and he left satisfied.
Many groups of Hispanic men were very willing to have long conversations with practitioners. They felt what they heard and now believe matches truthfulness, compassion and tolerance.
