Indonesia: "I Believe You Are Doing a Good Deed, Benefiting People and Society"

The "Uncompromising Courage" art exhibition came to Palembang on the third stop of its tour through Indonesia. There are many Chinese people in this city. On January 2, 2005, the art exhibition opened to the public at "Restoran Selebrity," a large restaurant in Palembang. On the first day, there happened to be a wedding ceremony at the restaurant, and many wedding guests visited the art exhibition. After practitioners handed out flyers and talked to people about Falun Gong and the persecution, the majority of the Chinese people present understood the true meaning of the exhibition and were sympathetic to the Chinese Falun Gong practitioners.

Group practice

On January 3 and 4, the art exhibition moved to Palembang Square, a large supermarket. A lot of people came to visit the art exhibition. At noon, the manager of the supermarket came to talk to the practitioners, saying that some of the paintings showing brutal tortureswere not suitable for display and asked the practitioners to remove several paintings. The practitioners agreed to take down a few of the pictures. The next noon, the manager found the practitioners again and said, "Some people in upper level management objected to the art exhibition, and several officials attacked us about it. We want to terminate the lease and return the fee to you." The practitioners kept calm and peaceful and explained the facts to him. Other practitioners sent forth righteous thoughts to clear away the evil factors in other dimension.

A practitioner said, "You know that two thousand years ago, Jesus was crucified on a cross. The paintings showing the cruel persecution he suffered can be seen everywhere and there is no problem with it. Even today, his disciples haven't forgotten him, and they hang a cross in their homes to commemorate him. We have exhibited our artwork in many places. The people with conscience who see our art all show sympathy for Falun Gong, and no one has expressed any objections. The exhibition is not being shown only in Indonesia; the "Uncompromising Courage" art exhibition is going on in many countries. Our intentions are nothing but good. Our purpose is to let the people of the world learn the truth, awaken their conscience, and support the appeal to end the Jiang regime's brutal persecution of Falun Gong."

The art exhibition attracted many local residents

The manager became silent and thought for a while. Then he said, "I also believe that you are doing a good deed and that it is beneficial to people and society. Ok, you can continue just like this. I will also arrange a time to go to your practice site. I want to read the book (Zhuan Falun - the main text of Falun Dafa) too."

After that, the art exhibition continued smoothly until its successful completion.
