My name is Mu Junyi. I am 12 years old and I am attending school, I am in the seventh grade. My dad is called Mu Feiming, and my mum's name is Liu Linrong.
We were a happy family living in Yongxing Town, Shuangliu County, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province. My dad taught at Yongxing Elementary School, and he was well respected by others.
My dad practices Falun Gong and after the persecution started, his school fired him, and our family lost our source of income. My dad had to go to the city to take on some labour work in order to make a little bit of money. Even so, he was still harassed by the local police. They tried to force him to be "reformed", but my dad never gave in. He often traveled to visit his family and friends, always taking CDs containing factual information about Falun Gong with him to hand out, so people could learn about Falun Gong and the persecution. Almost everyone in our village has watched the Falun Dafa VCD, including the truth about the staged "self-immolation" incident.
Every day I miss my dad very much. My dad is such a good person; I don't understand why he has to endure so much hardship and danger.
A few weeks ago, my dad was detained at the Shuangliu County Yongxing Retirement Residence in Sichuan Province, and we are not allowed to visit him. He is being persecuted and we don't know whether he is still alive or not. Suddenly, our family lost our source of income. I am very scared. I haven't been afraid like this for many years. My mom is very sad and we don't know what to do. I want to go to school really badly, however, we don't have the money for tuition. It's difficult for our relatives to give us a hand as well. They treat us as if we're criminals due to the anti-Falun Gong propaganda. I simply want to save my dad; I love him. The officials took him away and now I feel so lonely.
People around us seem to be very tense towards us. Because of the propaganda, they keep blaming my dad and accusing him. I was about to cry, however, I knew that I should not. I still need to seek help, otherwise my dad might be... As long as I carry on with my efforts, my dad will have hope. I don't care whether I can go to school or not, or even if I have food to eat. I just want my dad to be safely released, and for him to be able to finally breathe freely.
I know I am facing great danger saying this.
Please help save my dad!
